The short version: what you eat and when you walk stays on your iPhone. WalkTen has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking, and we don't run a server that stores your meal or walk history.
What the app keeps on your phone
When you tap that you ate, WalkTen records the time and whether it was a meal or a snack. When you walk, it records the walk's start, end, and step count. This history is stored on your device so the app can show your streak and consistency. Deleting the app deletes it.
Motion and step data
With your permission, WalkTen reads step counts from your iPhone's motion sensor to confirm that a walk happened. Step data is used only inside the app. We don't sell it, share it, or send it to our servers.
No tracking in the app
The app has no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are made through Apple. We never see your payment details. To unlock WalkTen Pro and let you restore it on a new phone, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives your App Store purchase record and a random ID created by the app. It isn't tied to your name or email, and it's never used for advertising.
The waitlist and this website
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address to tell you when WalkTen launches. We don't sell or share it. Reply to any email from us, or write to the address below, and we'll remove it. This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
Children
WalkTen isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
